• His Parents: Divock Okoth Origi was born on April 18, 1995, the second child in the family. His mother is Linda Adhiambo and his father is Mike Origi. Origi's parents are also sports enthusiasts, his father used to play professional football for KV Oostende in the Belgian professional league.

• The football prodigy was admitted to the youth system of Belgian provincial league team, KFC De Zwaluw Wiemesmeer at the age of 5. Later, Origi moved to Belgian team KRC Harelbeke and later KRC Genk. Origi has grown tremendously in football during his youth system training at KRC Genk.

• At Lille, Origi was impressive. Successfully caught the attention of Liverpool scouts. On 29 July 2014, he was offered a six-year contract by England for £10m and was immediately loaned back to Lille to gain more first-team experience. After making 44 appearances for Lille and scoring nine goals, he finally joined Liverpool the following season.

• Soon after, he scored his first sporting goal for Liverpool in Liverpool's 6-1 win over Southampton. In June 2022, it was announced by Liverpool that Origi would leave the club at the end of the month when his contract expired.

• On 5 July 2022, Origi signed for Serie A club AC Milan on a four-year contract.
• On 1 September 2023, Origi joined Premier League club Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan with an option to buy. On 7 February 2024, he scored his first goal for Forest in a 1–1 draw against Bristol City in the 2023–24 FA Cup, which his team would go on to win on penalties.
• By July 2024, Origi returned to AC Milan but according to Zlatan Ibrahimović, the striker would play only for their youth team Milan Futuro.
