The Story of Timo Werner

• At the age of eight, Timo joined the Stuttgart Academy and also impressed the coaches with his speed and strength. Timo Werner started his club career in the 2012-13 season for Stuttgart's Under-19s, scoring 24 goals. At the time, he was only sixteen years old and a student at the Stuttgart High School.

• In 2013, he was selected for the Bundesliga, making 30 appearances in the 2013-2014 season. And became the youngest player in Bundesliga history to score two goals in a single game. On March 6, 2014, when he turned 18, he signed a professional contract with VfB Stuttgart, playing 32 games in the 2014-2015 season and 33 in the Bundesliga in the 2015-2016 season. During his tenure at VfB Stuttgart, he scored 13 goals in 95 games.

• In 2016, VfB Stuttgart was relegated, so Timo Werner was forced to move to newly formed RB Leipzig.

• On June 18, 2020, he signed with the Premier League club Chelsea with an annual salary of 5 million euros. He made his league debut on September 14, 2020. On September 29, 2020, Timo Werner scored his first Chelsea goal in a 1-1 draw with Tottenham.
